SET IN 1965... That’s What I Am is a coming-of-age story which follows 12-year-old Andy Nichol, (Chase Ellison, The Tooth Fairy), a well-liked student who is put to the test when his English teacher, Mr. Simon (Academy Award Nominee Ed Harris, Apollo 13), pairs him up on a project with the school’s biggest outcast, Stanley aka “Big G”. Now Andy must face the bullies and teasing head on, and learn what might be Mr. Simon’s final lesson: tolerance takes courage. Also starring Randy Orton as Ed Freel.
