The event began with Kofi Kingston defending the Intercontinental Championship against Drew McIntyre. SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long was also in attendance near the announce table and played a main role in the outcome of the match that had very strong emotions at the end, due to the tensions between Long and McIntyre. It was also nice to see Chris Jericho coming out to taunt the crowd by saying that it was because of him that they were all at the event that night. A few minutes later, he would have litterally eaten his words due to an upset lost to young Evan Bourne. Business then picks-up, as we were then on for the main events of the night: two big upsets shock the Fatal 4 Ways of both Raw and Smackdown, with 2 title changes caused by unlikely visitors. The event went off the air 25 minutes ahead of schedule, but all in all it was quite entertaining and I strongly suggest to buy the DVD.
